After adventurous year living in Canada, I decided to end my stay with the biggest adventure of it all.  I will cycle over 1000 miles, along the coast of the Pacific Ocean, while fundraise $1000 for a good cause, and only on a $1000 budget.

Cool Earth's approach to preserving the rain forests is very unique, which I like a lot as it doesn't just care about the purely environmental damage but takes into account the people that have to face loss of their homes.  It strives to "put indigenous people back in control" by providing resources to build better education, clinics and to strengthen local incomes to support the fight to defend their homes.
