Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our 'Bike for Brain Tumours' JustGiving page.

We are doing a charity 500km [now 3,000km!] cycle relay to raise money for Brain Tumour Ireland and Cahercalla Hospice. The money raised will go towards researching advances in brain tumour treatment and supporting the brave patients and their families. We're doing it in honour of a dear friend who - along with her family - continues to face her diagnosis with such bravery and dignity and always a smile on her face. Feeling heartbroken and helpless, we are trying to do something positive to help create a different future for others. Your support is greatly appreciated. With love, Liz & the 'Bike for Brain Tumours' team x

You can join in, too! Just cycle or pledge to cycle as many km as you like by 12th December & let us know how far (here or on facebook or on whatsapp to 0862232922)! We will deduct it from the 500km target & we'll be cycling the remainder on December 5th. Any amount you can cycle will be a great help. Thank you!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Brain Tumour Ireland was founded in 2012 by a small group of people caring for a family member who was sadly lost to a Brain Tumour. As a national organisation our aim is to continue to fight the battle against the disease in her honour. Through Brain Tumour Ireland (The Ronnie Fehily Foundation) we hope to create a place where people can come for information, guidance and comfort. A place to learn what to expect and a community to provide support. Iin addition to supporting the brain tumour community we provide funding for medical research. As a fully registered member of the Charities Regulator, Brain Tumour Ireland is compliant with all rules and regulations concerning fundraising, both online and traditional.
