He was always joking and laughing and loved playing all kinds of sports, especially football, golf, tennis and swimming, he was also a very enthusiastic drummer.</p> <p style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 14px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; line-height: 19px; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; padding: 0px; margin: 0px; border: 0px initial initial;">In August 2005 Andrew was diagnosed with a grade 4 PNET &ndash; a very rare and aggressive brain tumour. Weeks of radiotherapy and chemotherapy followed although nothing seemed to work and Andrew suffered more headaches and seizures. Andrew underwent a total of five major operations but each time the tumour returned. In August 2006 we were told that no more could be done for Andrew and he was sent home.</p> <p style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 14px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; line-height: 19px; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; padding: 0px; margin: 0px; border: 0px initial initial;">Andrew faced his illness with immense courage and bravery and had such a positive outlook on life.
