Story
Four junior doctor colleagues will be biking and running (and biking and biking and running) for 24 hours straight. We hope to raise money for the fantastic Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and their global efforts against coronavirus, all whilst complying with government guidelines on a once daily outing for exercise.
MSF is a non-governmental organisation that delivers humanitarian aid to those in crisis around the globe. MSF are, right now, providing urgently needed medical care and support in more than 70 countries to counter the new coronavirus disease as well as their usual work which ranges from medical care to civilians in war-torn regions with logisticians and engineers setting up safe sanitation to search-and-rescue for refugees crossing the Mediterranean with midwives on board for the refugees who go into labour on their dangerous crossing.
Starting 11am Saturday 9 May, we will take it in turns to do 1-2 hour bike legs on the indoor turbo trainer and 1 hour outdoor run legs for 24 hours straight whilst not taking more than our one daily outing for exercise each.
So please donate if you can, or share if you can’t, and together we can help people all around the globe.
