Story
Last year he died aged 68, after a 7 year battle with cancer. The brilliant staff at Maggies Centres supprted our family during this incredibly difficult time and I want to thank them for all their support during this time.
2022 is the 50th anniversary of that walk in Wales. To commemorate my dad and raise money to help the people that helped him, I will retrace his steps but expand upon his route, adding sections of my own and walking where he hitchhiked to make it into a huge 500 mile challenge over 6 stages.
It costs £20 to enable somebody to access Maggies Centre's services, so I am aiming to raise £10,000 so that for every mile I walk, somebody can get access to potentially life changing support. Please do give what you can! Remember every £20 can give someone in crisis and their families the support that they need.
