What the Hell am I doing!!

The Big Red Bus ( Kev Linnane) is going to make the Pyranees Mountains as flat as a pancake, as he walks 50 miles in two days from Pau to Lourdes, through the undulating valleys and oxygen starved peaks of the french mountains.

In case your eyes skimmed over the above that is 50 miles

Why The Hell Are You Doing That

In this the trust's 50th year, some bright spark decided to have a 50mile walk through France from Pau to Lourdes in order to raise money to enable disabled children to have a holiday of a lifetime. This bright sparktold me about it

To this bright spark I said, "If you want to make it a challenge, why not make it two marathons in two days. Anyone can walk that distance"

- The gauntlet was thrown down- The die was cast!!- I WAS SIGNED UP

"He did not mention the undulating valleys or the oxygen starved peaks."

Why I am really doing this !

The HCPT has been a part of my life since I was 17 years of age. The trust's work is offering disabled children that holiday of a lifetime.

In the years since the first time that I have been, I have seen many things that cannot be properly described. The children's expression says it all.

I would like to raise enougth sponsorship to allow four children to go on this holiday, and any contribution will be greatly appreciated.

I will be auctioning off my knee caps upon my return via e-bay!!
