Just getting ready to collect at Rangers FC (Ibrox) with 30 volunteers
thanks to Vittorias Edinburgh for their support tonight #doitformum
Every year 1000s of Mums are diagnosed with breast cancer. For the Mums we love and the Mums we miss, please donate to The Big Pink Bucket Collection.
Our Volunteer, Kirsty explains why she is taking part.
"When my mum, Rosie, was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2009, it was a huge shock. My mum's strength, love and encouragement is what binds our family together. The thought that she might not always be there is devastating. Breast Cancer Care has been a vital source of support, not only for my mum but for me too. Their information resources answered all the questions I was too scared to ask, and their supportive community helped us feel that we weren't going through this alone. There's nothing I can do to change my mum's diagnosis, but I can help make sure that other mums and daughters receive the same amazing information and support that my mum and I have had. I'll be shaking a Big Pink Bucket this March, and I'll be doing it for my wonderful mum."
If you don't get the chance to pop a couple of pounds in a Pink Bucket this March please donate here and be part of our online collection.
