I was very lucky in getting a ballot place to run the London Marathon in 2016. Consequently I would like to use this amazing opportunity to not only challenge myself to run my personal best marathon time (guaranteed given lack of previous marathons completed!) but also try to raise some money for a very worthy cause, the Refugee Council. The charity exists to support refugees arriving in the UK, ensuring that they are treated fairly and with dignity, to enable them to find protection, and to help them rebuild their lives.
