We listen to anyone who contacts us to help fewer people die by suicide.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page.

On the 1st March a group of volunteers from LGS Samaritans and some of their friends and family are running the Big Half to raise money for our local Samaritans branch. 

Every penny of the money you donate goes directly to our branch and will help to keep the phone lines open so that we can be there for people whenever they need to talk.

About the charity

Samaritans help people who are in crisis, feel distressed or are thinking of suicide, we give them the time and space to talk about feelings, help explore options and perhaps seek a way to face the future. Our trained volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
