Story
Hi everyone 2 of my lads have entered The Big Fight Legacy,
We are raising funds for Our Power Hub (OPH) please visit, https://www.ourpowerhub.org/ for more information about the organisation.
A little bio from Mohamed & Ahmed and why they have chosen to do this.
My name is Mohamed Amer, I'm 27 years old.
On 14th June 2017 a tragedy that changed hundreds of lives took place at the Grenfell tower. Four years on the community are still deeply saddened and affected by the events which took place and as such I am participating in a white collar boxing event to fundraise for the cause and to show my support.
For the past few months I have been learning to box at a local gym (Armzhouse) and will be putting what I have been learning to the test against an opponent on the 9th September at the Clapham Grand.
This will be the first boxing event I will be participating in. In preparation I have lost over 10 kg and have been training very hard overall to boost my fitness levels.
The money raised through this event will be used towards community projects for both Grenfell residents and other members of the community; hopefully these projects along with those already ongoing will continue to create a positive environment and bring the community together.
All donations are greatly appreciated
Hi my name is Ahmed Salam,
I'm 30 years old. Grenfell has always been in my heart from the time the unforgettable fire happened. I am so happy to be apart of This charity boxing match for the The Grenfell Foundation. The reason why I have taken part in this event is because I have always loved helping people all over the world ("The best among you are those who bring greatest benefits to many others").
