2020 was an unforgettable year - the world turned upside down and the nation suffered tremendously. 

On 5th August Gary and I via Maritime radio are raising money for Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice by doing a 12 hour walk around Greenwich visiting various landmarks, wearing branded 'Maritime Radio' t shirts and carrying donation buckets all day. Everyone on the frontline has worked extremely hard over the last year saving lives and reassuring families. We would like to show our appreciation and ask if you could spare a donation for such a good cause. 

Your donations make a difference by funding projects and initiatives that enhance care and improve patient, visitor and staff experience. Every contribution will help make  significant improvements at our hospitals and community sites, such as:

• Wellbeing hubs, and dedicated emotional support, for frontline staff - which is particularly important during the Covid-19 pandemic, which provide snacks, fruit, refreshments and key toiletries

• ‘Covid Heroes’ awards to recognise the achievements of exceptional staff during this unprecedented time.
