Story

Having been diagnosed with Metastatic Prostate Cancer in 2019 my world felt like it had fallen apart. I wasn't sure how long I would be around and whether I would live to see my children get married and welcome my granddaughter into the world.

After a course of chemotherapy and regular implants and tablets my levels are reasonably stable.

Having seen the flyer my Daughter in Law, Son and Brother have decided to take part in the 65 mile Big Blue Bike Ride this September to raise money and help beat prostate cancer.

It's important that we raise awareness and find new treatments to help beat this awful disease.

1 in 8 men are affected by prostate cancer in the UK. That's thousands of dads, grandads, partners, brothers, sons, uncles and mates. The money raised will fund research into lifesaving treatments for prostate cancer and provide practical support to men and their families.
