Thank you for visiting the BIBR justgiving page.
WE DID IT!
All 19 runners made it round the course in one piece and thanks to kind people like you we smashed our fundraising target. However we are still accepting donations so if you have visited this page to make one please please do! More money means more vital equipment for the ward.
WHO ARE BIBR
We are a group of parents, family and friends of babies who started their lives in Buscot Ward at the Royal Berkshire Hospital; a special baby unit for those born too early, too sick or too small.
READING HALF MARATHON
On the 2nd March we ran the Reading Half Marathon for Babies in Buscot Support (BIBS), a charity that provides the ward with essential funds for lifesaving equipment and help to families during one of the most heart wrenching experiences of their lives.
OUR AIM
We are hoping to raise as much money as possible as a way of saying thank you for the care our babies received, and more importantly help give other babies an even brighter start to life. 1 in 10 born require special care and the treatment a baby receives during its first 24hours of life is make or break. Anything you can spare to donate will make a real difference. THANK YOU!
