We're raising money for Sarcoma UK. We're doing this because Becca's Dad, Stewart, was diagnosed with Sarcoma 2 years ago. Since his diagnosis, he's been supported by Sarcoma UK nurses through various treatments. Sarcoma UK has also been a valuable source of info and advice for this rare and aggressive cancer.
We're aiming to raise £1,500 which would fund a week of vital research using a fancy microscope to look at cells and find more effective treatments. Or 20 weeks of a virtual helpline to provide support and advice to people diagnosed with Sarcoma.
We are travelling a long way over land and water in our fundraising effort.
Bianca is running the Great North Run on 12 September. This will be her first half marathon, and quite a challenge for someone who only took up running last year.
Becca will be donning her wetsuit to swim 4km across a mountain lake in The Snowman Swim in Snowdonia on 31 July.
Thank you for your support!
