Story
Hello, my name is Bianca Anderson, and like many, the past year and half navigating times during this pandemic has been incredibly difficult. For me and my family, we personally experienced the worst of Covid when we lost my grandfather, Ernie Bianco, to Covid this past January. My grandfather was 75 years young and had a lot of life left to live. He was diagnosed with Covid in December 2020, and for nearly 6 weeks he fought a hard battle. The doctors, nurses, respiratory team, and everyone in between at South Shore Hospital, were nothing short of amazing during his time there. It was very evident to our family how much my grandfather touched their hearts in his time there.
We are so fortunate that we have South Shore Hospital right here in our community where we can receive amazing care. We are not out of the woods yet with this pandemic, and I wanted to do something to help. I decided the best way is to take something bad and do something good to help others in their time of need. This is why I have decided to do a fundraiser for South Shore Hospital's Covid Relief fund. I do this to honor the memory of my grandfather, to honor the amazing healthcare workers that have been working tirelessly, and to help support South Shore Hospital continue to have the resources necessary to help those in our community. Thank you for your gift!
