Story
As many of you will know, I lost my beloved Dad to pancreatic cancer in 2015 and there isn't a day which goes by where he isn't missed.
He spent a lot of time in the Day Therapy Unit at the LOROS Hospice in Leicester and decided he wanted to pass there.
During that time the doctors, nurses and wider staff were our guardian angels who would do anything to make my Dad feel at ease. I cannot even begin to explain what an amazing place this is which is why I am choosing to face my fears in memory of him. I will be skydiving next month!
A bit more about the Hospice is below:
At LOROS we strive to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers. Our brave team of Skydivers are aiming to raise over £20,000 in order to support the hospice. The funds will help us to run our 31-bed inpatient ward and facilitate our nurse led Day Therapy Unit. Each Skydiver has pledged to raise as much as they can for LOROS by taking a leap of faith from 14,000ft, if that's something that you wouldn't do then support them by hitting the donate button now. If you think its easy then sign up and join them!
I would grateful for any donation, no matter how big or small. Thank you for taking the time to sponsor me.
