Story
So, WFC's CSE Trust do a whole load of stuff - more on their site; www.watfordfccsetrust.com. If you're a fella, and have a BMI of over 28, these guys can help you. Three months ago I was obese and although I enjoyed my sports I couldn't shake the weight. In the last twelve weeks, the trainers from the Trust educated us in how do this with the long term view of keeping it off. And it was an education; informative, interactive, supportive: the trainers know their stuff and we explored diet and activity quantitatively and qualitatively. No stone was left unturned - everything was covered from the psychology of eating e.g inner coach and inner critic,, willpower, the impact of making small changes e.g. choosing to stand rather than sit in terms of calories used, and loads on keeping a full belly whilst still keeping on track with the weight loss and fitness. Weekly weigh-ins and food diaries meant we could monitor how we were doing. The trainers slowly increased how much exercise we did during each Tuesday evening session. I was sceptical at first - no in fact perhaps a bit cynical about it working. But it did. I lost 9 kg (1 St 5 lb or so) for health reasons and have made friends along the way. Other guys lost upwards of 3 Stone!! Many of us are going back for a follow up 12 week course. It'll be great to tackle the stairs at Vicarage Road, where I spent many a Saturday afternoon as a boy (a stand really was a "stand" back then), so please help me support WFC CSE Trust; certainly in my experience, they're doing something right.
