The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income. At a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, charities have had to cut services, furlough staff and some have even shut down. Captain Tom stepped up to help, taking on his famous walk to support the NHS Covid-19 appeal and inspiring millions to donate to the cause. We will be celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Captain Tom our way and help his foundation. 

What to do:  Yourself: donate and take part OR nominate a friend/family, to take part and and donate £5.00 or more to the Captain Tom Foundation, for your nominated person for their message - they’ll need, to send in a message starting: Sir Tom....’ and record their  message, of what he meant/or his work meant to them... you can use his quotes/words etc to leave your own personal tribute to him...

Do it as a team, couple, group etc. 

Messages will be content checked before they go live. 

From 30.04.21, the day of the national event launch, we will publish all messages, as a tribute to the great man!
