The Save the Rhino Trust Namibia, Mule Project Fundraiser!!

Berry White is raising money for Save the Rhino International

Rhino Swim · 19 June 2021

We believe rhinos are magnificent. And they are endangered. To survive, they need a safe and diverse world. Yet today, they face immense threats. With your fundraising and donations, we can work alongside expert partners and move closer towards our vision: for all rhino species to thrive.

Story

Please help me and Save the Rhino International raise vital funds for Save the Rhino Trust Namibia’s Mule Project. This money will go towards the veterinary care and feed for 7 mules, and the handlers’ salaries. SRT Namibia works tirelessly to protect the last free-roaming population of rhinos in the world, an area of 25000kms of rough terrain where there is no National Park status, no fences, and no control over who enters or exits. The mules patrol the areas of Barab and the Omadenteka Mountains, and the Omutati area of the Erongo and North West Kunene Region, in Damaraland.

Black rhinos remain under threat from poaching because of their horns, and it is estimated that there are less than 5630 left in the wild today. These Damaraland rhinos are the last, true free-roaming group.

Many thanks
