We are 3 mothers who love to walk and who have been affected by cancer one way or another.

Clare's Story: Recently we discovered that a close family member has cancer and although we are sure they will overcome this awful disease, its just crazy how much it affects them and those around them. It is an all consuming, non discriminate, evil disease . We also lost my grandmother to Cancer, but the support we received then and do now is amazing so I would like to do something to give back to those that devote their lives to helping and caring for those going through this difficult journey.

 Jo' story: Having lost both of my parents in law and my grandad to cancer I've experienced first hand what support Macmillian provides, their services are vital to people who need their support and provide a lifeline to so many people. I've decided to take part in this challenge to help enable them to continue their vital work. I hope you can support our team to undertake this challenge and achieve our fundraising goals. 

Bev's Story: I currently have multiple close friends with immediate family members or close loved ones battling cancer and my much loved Granddad fought oesophageal cancer before he passed away.Throughout our lives cancer seems to effect all of us in one way or another, if not directly then through someone we love or care about and the incredible support Macmillan gives is immeasurable.
