Cape Wrath Challenge 2022

Story

At Triodos Bank, I have worked closely with WWF including on the Netflix film Our Planet: Too Big To Fail | WWF. They have led the way in seeking to highlight the role that banking and the wider financial system plays in fuelling climate change, biodiversity loss and many other environmental and social crises.

WWF is at the heart of global efforts to address the world’s most important environmental challenges: safeguarding the natural world, tackling climate change and enabling people to use only their fair share of natural resources. Together we can build a future where people and nature thrive. Find out more by visiting wwf.org.uk

I've spent 25 years working in sustainability and volunteering for conservation organisations.  It is a privilege to be involved in this expedition with other business leaders and WWF scientists aiming to highlight the impacts that climate change is already having on our landscape and support WWF's efforts to deliver faster action.

Triodos Bank donating £10k to WWF as part of this challenge and I'd be grateful if you would also support me in raising as much as possible for WWF.  We'll be trekking 50km over two days across some remote terrain and camping each night - the fitness required is a work in progress!

Donations of blister plasters also welcome ;-)
