Story
Nicola Flowers was a passionate, driven and wonderful mother, daughter, wife and friend, right up until she lost her battle with cancer.
Her cancer was a shock to everyone but she kept on top of it through alternative treatments and a massive change in diet and lifestyle.
She surpassed all expectations when she looked like she was really beating this awful cancer and chose to have a baby - her dream come true. She gave birth to Harriet and got married to her lovely husband.
However, on giving birth it turned out that the cancer had returned more aggressively than ever and she had no choice but to put herself through chemo and host stem cell transplant.
She kept a smile on her face, enjoyed a fantastic relationship with her baby daughter and was an inspiration to all.
When it looked like she was beating the cancer again, things took a turn for the worse and her little body, that had been through so much over the last 4 years, could take no more and she passed away following a seizure.
Nicola never gave up. Throughout her illness and her treatment, Nicola started a degree, became a wonderful mother and raised thousands for Myeloma UK.
There was so much sadness when Nicola died. I would like to turn some of that into positive energy and continue where she left off - raising money for an amazing cause so that more sufferers and their families can benefit from the good work that Myeloma UK do.
Help me if you can. Thank you x
