Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Cycle Trails Babes have many friends and family who have been affected by Cancer - just since Xmas, my much loved auntie has been diagnosed and is in for a hard fight and a long valued colleague has sadly passed away.

This is such a good cause, we just had to enter a team. There is now more than a 50% chance you can survive cancer, with some types having a fantastic survival record and treatments getting less invasive all the time. But there is lots more to do and I for one want to raise as much as possible so that next time one of my family and friends gets cancer, the chances of them doing well are even better.

Thanks very much for your support - 100k at night, presumably without wine, is a real challenge for me (and my behind) so please give generously.

Thank you!

About the charity

Women v Cancer is a series of Women only cycle challenges in aid of three British charities – Breast Cancer Care, (RCN:1017658), Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust (RCN:113354/SCO41236) and Ovarian Cancer Action (RCN:1109743) – raising vital funds to fight breast, cervical and ovarian cancers. The donations you make to Women v Cancer will be distributed equally between them. The cycle challenges are organised and managed by Dream Challenges – www.dream-challenges.com. Women v Cancer is established under GivingWorks, a charitable trust registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales and under number 1078770.
