Story

We're taking part in We Love MCR Charity's latest trekking challenge: the "3 Peaks of The Peaks" as a team made up of the leadership of Manchester City Council. We'll be with a 100-strong group taking on a 25-mile route, recreating the steps of the brave Kinder Scout Trespassers who put their liberty on the line 90 years ago.

Last year, MCC leadership also took part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for We Love MCR, and hope to raise even more funds this year for the vital Mancunian charity, to support We Love MCR's work giving heart, hope and opportunity to Manchester's communities & young people.

They do this by empowering Manchester's unbeatable communities, changing the lives of ambitious young Mancunians facing financial disadvantages.
