Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page........

On 19th April 2015, Betty will be swimming a cool 1500m at the Rossmore Leisure Centre in Dorset. At the tender age of 72 she fancied the challenge and wanted to raise much needed funds for Marie Curie nurses.

This isn't the first daring feat that Betty has done... some moons ago she abseiled off the nurses home at Poole Hospital in aid of charity!

She is training hard for her Swimathon and looking forward to reaching her target in both metres and money.

Every £20 raised pays for a Marie Curie Nurse to look after someone with a terminal illness for one hour... Every little bit helps this incredible charity deliver a truly precious service, a service we all hope we never need but in reality 1 in 4 of us will.
Thank you in advance for your support xxx
