Story

UPDATE: on 13 April, I successfully completed the London Marathon in 4 hrs 45 mins. Thank you all for your very kind messages of support and your donations to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

This cause has unfortunately become close to my heart as my father was diagnosed with this as yet incurable disease in February 2007. He was an enthusiastic and successful marathon and other long-distance runner into his late 60s and I feel this is the perfect occasion to honour him and acknowledge his achievements.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the Motor Neurone Disease Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please give generously to this worthy cause.
Thank you so much

Bettina
