Meet the Bethel JVs:
Amy (she/her) is from Jefferson City, MO and will be serving as a Fisheries Technician with the Kuskokwim River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission.
"I serve because I believe it is important to learn from and walk with people to understand more about others and their experiences. We are all different, but we are also connected in different ways, and being a part of JVC Northwest is a way to connect with others through service."
Alex (he/him) is from Placentia, CA and will be serving as a Wellness Programming Producer with Bethel Broadcasting, Inc. KYUK TV.
"I serve to live how Ignatian Spirituality informs me how to live."
Ian (he/him) is from Fort Mitchell, AL and will be serving as an Adult Services Coordinator with the University of Alaska, Fairbanks - Kuskokwim Campus.
"I serve because I want to be an agent of positive change in the world. I want to give back through my actions and my time while with JVC Northwest."
Max (he/they) is from River Forest, IL and will be serving for a second year with JVC Northwest as a Client Services Specialist with the Alaska Public Defender Agency.
