We are fundraising for Macmillan as they were the light in the dark when my lovely, lovely Dad passed away in May 2022. They carried our family and made my Dad comfortable. They allowed him to have the peaceful passing at home that he so wanted, surrounded by his wife, me and Katherine, and with the pain taken away. We could not have survived his last few weeks without Macmillan’s support. Watching your loved ones slip away is so painful but with Macmillan by your side it's a bit more bearable. I hope they are available for more families in their darkest days. We are forever grateful to them.
