Cancer Research UK is a charity close to my heart. After losing two dear family members to this horrific disease, I would like to repay the help and support that people and charities have given by running the race for life both to aid the work being done to combat cancer and to pay homage to two of the most influential people in my life.

I've set myself the challenge of running the Race for Life so that I can raise awareness of the dangers of cancer and to show people that there are people fighting to beat it on a daily basis. It is also my way of paying my respect to those that suffer from cancer and continue to live on and to those who were brave until the end

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
