Hi All,

This is it, after last year's injury nightmare, I am finally running the Virgin London Marathon - even if I have to crawl around.  

As I'm sure you're all aware, I work for the Sports Team at Cancer Reasearch UK, so every day I'm reminded of the importance of the work that we fundraise for. Plus, if I didn't raise money for Cancer Research UK, I'm sure i'd be unceremoniously shunned by my team and never spoken to again - but mainly I'm doing it for the research and to help Cancer Research UK beat cancer sooner (nice on-brand phrase for you there).

Please be generous and donate as much as you can - It really will help save lives.

Also, i'll need as much support as possible to drag my lump of a body around the course, so if you'd be keen to come and cheer, let me know. I can even hook you up with a sweet Cancer Research UK t-shirt and some cheering equipment to use on the day.
