Story

In the early hours of Tuesday morning 19th January 2021 our dad lost his battle with cancer. By the time he had been diagnosed we were told there would not be any treatments available to save his life. That being said our dad fought his battle with everything he had and managed to make it through Christmas which was his favourite time of year.

We are so very grateful for all of the help we received from St Gemma's Hospice in order to keep our dad comfortable and at home with his family where he belonged. They not only took care of the needs of our dad but they looked after and took the time to care for our mum and whole family throughout this difficult time.

Due to covid restrictions we are unable to have the send off that my dad deserved. Therefore if you would like to make a donation to the charity that helped so much towards the end of his life then please donate here.

We would like to thank each and every person for their sympathies and kind gestures to us all at this time.

Claire, Beth & Drew xx
