As a Business Against Brain Tumours, Clicky Media are pledging to fund 1 day of research into brain tumours by taking on the Brain Power Challenge! Brain tumours are still the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, with treatments having changed very little since the 1980s. It’s no wonder when only 3% of funds raised for research into cancer is spent on brain tumours so it’s down to us as a community to urgently power forward progress. To fund 1 day of vital research, staff at Clicky are taking on the Brain Power Challenge, which is a commitment to improve our brain health and mental wellbeing at the same time as fundraising for research into brain tumours. Every year in the UK over 12,000 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour; that’s 33 every day with 88,000 people estimated to be living with a brain tumour right now. Therefore, for the Challenge we’ll be taking on individual challenges to improve brain health and to fundraise, each challenge will be either ‘Silver’ (12hrs), ‘Gold’ (33hrs) or ‘Platinum’ (88hrs) towards their chosen activity. Every penny raised will go towards The Brain Tumour Charity’s world-class research to fund kinder, better treatments and one day a cure. Help us fundraise to power progress!
