Story
So Hannah and Bethany wanted to do something for charity - and stupidly we choose a triathlon! So please give this a little read and sponsor us, however big or small its greatly appreciated !
Ross/Rossco/Rossy is the little boy Bethany cares for, and have done 3 times a week since september. He is 4 years old with Global Development Delay, epilepsy and a visual impairment, however is he the smiliest little boy you could ever meet and just so beautiful, his family are also fantastic and it is an honour to be able to help them out. The Donnans are fortunate enough to have had SCAMPPS help them with equipment for Ross. Ross is just my example to show how amazing SCAMPPS are, but so many other children benefit from them. And Hannah and Bethany want this to be even more children than it already is.
SCAMPPS provide families with equipment and support that the NHS doesn’t currently fund, these items they fund include speech therapy kits, adapted bicycles, specialist computer equipment for children with delayed fine motor skills, wheelchair accessories, as well as subsidising signing classes and supporting groups like JOG (a multi-therapy group for pre-school children). But this is only a brief description of the charity as it is hard to write down just how amazing it is and what fantastic things it does for families. And we would love to be able to donate money to help go towards some equipment of services that the NHS won’t fund for. Now for anybody that knows us you’ll know that we are most definitely not girls that do much exercise let alone triathlons! So please we are putting ourselves through this gruelling training and triathlon so please dig deep!
