After seeing a young girl with no hair, Bethany questioned why she had none? so I explained she was poorly, and that sometimes you lose your hair, when you are poorly, or have special medicine. 

After explaining that some people grow their hair long, cut it off to give to them, I showed Bethany some videos of children getting their new hair, she said how happy they are to have it, and that they should feel like a princess. Bethany decided she would like to grow her hair to donate to the poorly children. It has taken her a year to grow it long enough, and so has donated her hair to make other children feel happy!

I am uber proud of my kind and thoughtful 5 year old. We hope you are inspired by her, and possibly inspired enough to donate yourself.
