Hi , I'm Beth, 

This year I am living in Madrid and wanted to take this opportunity to do something different and push myself beyond my comfort zone- both physically and mentally. On the 7th of April I will be running my first ever half marathon to raise money for guide dogs for the blind and want to raise as much money as possible for this great cause. 

After recently losing our beloved dog Oscar , I have come to realise what a huge part of the family he really was - he would've been a hopeless guide dog ( far too excitable!) but I can't even begin to imagine what a difference these dogs must make to the lives of their owners. The companionship and independence that these dogs offer to the visually impaired and the blind is incredible and I really believe it is a scheme worth supporting.
