This Spring, I will be taking on a WILD Fundraiser challenge to raise money for The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales! I am a passionate wildlife photographer and love using my camera to capture the beauty of wildlife around me. For my WILD Fundraiser, I will be staying awake for 24 hours in a hide, to capture the wildlife at one of my favourite Wildlife Trust reserves. I want to showcase the amazing and often overlooked wildlife that we have here in Wales, whilst raising money for my favourite charity. The Wildlife Trust of South and West wales has always been a charity close to my heart, and I want to help make a difference. The aim of this fundraiser is to help raise funds to put towards improving local nature reserves, to encourage wildlife & to restore the amazing beauty spots we have on our doorsteps. This fundraiser has been organised with permission of the trust.
The Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts across the UK. They cover an area of 9,787 km² in South & West Wales - including around half of Wales’ coastline! They own & manage 110 nature reserves, including Skomer & Skokholm islands, the Welsh Wildlife Centre & Parc Slip. We have 800 volunteers & over 10,000 members!
Together, we can help nature recover.
