2009 Year of the Gorilla - http://www.yog2009.org/
I made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to everyone for donating money and thanks to all the people at Adventure Challange Events for helping me make it down the building!!
Hi and thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
As you may know, I have a passion for animal conservation, and so I have been inspired to take part in an abseil to raise money for the Gorilla Organisation. However, this is no ordinary challenge, it is an abseil dressed as a gorilla!!!
This event is taking place on Sunday 14th June, at the 30 metre tall Riverwalk House in London.
The Gorilla Organization is an international charity led by experienced African conservationists dedicated to saving the world’s last remaining gorillas from extinction. Their unique community-based approach to conservation promotes sustainable livelihoods, nurtures young conservationists of the future and empowers local people to tackle the main threats to the gorillas’ survival. Find out more at their website http://www.gorillas.org/
Please help me support gorilla conservation by sponsoring me below. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. Plus, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me!

A donation of only £5 buys the seeds, tools and resources necessary to grow a tree and help rebuild the gorilla habitat.
A donation of £10 gives villagers a firewood saving stove, which uses 80% less wood than an open fire. Each family using a stove will need less fuel, meaning up to 80% fewer trees need to be cut down from the Gorilla habitat.
