Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support.
I am running the London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October 2022 with 2 of my sisters- Chelsea and Megan, in memory of our Grandad (Pa) who sadly passed away in August 2021 after living and suffering with heart failure for as long as we can remember.
Together we are pledging to raise £8,000 to help the charity continue to improve people’s quality of life who are living with heart disease.
Unlike Meg and Chels, I won’t be aiming for their crazy times, and I will certainly be 3rd out of us 3 over the finish line but I would very much appreciate any support in terms of fundraising, being a training partner, cycling next to me or letting me know of any good physios...
This isn’t going to be easy but I hope Pa would be proud of us! He certainly would have been our biggest supporter.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
