In October 2022 I will be taking on The Saharan Challenge to raise money and awareness for the wonderful charity Dreamflight.

The challenge involves walking the distance of 2 marathons in 2 days through the Saharan Desert - starting near Mt Kissane and across the Draa Valley, before camping beneath the stars to then make our way to the finish line in the Nakhla sand dunes. 

Dreamflight is an incredible UK charity that takes children with a serious illness or disability on a holiday of a lifetime to Orlando. The experience is not just a holiday; it does something that medicine can't: allows young people to discover independence, build their confidence and to try new things. Many children return from the trip and start to look past their illness or disability for the first time.

In order to make this once in a lifetime trip happen, Dreamflight have to fundraise £1 million a year. They do not receive any government funding so every penny really does count!
