Mucopolysaccharide and related diseases are rare, but one baby born every 8 days will be diagnosed with MPS or related diseases. The disease causes progressive physical disability and, in many cases, severe degenerative mental deterioration resulting in death in childhood.

Volunteering for the MPS society allows you to meet so many inspiring children and parents. It can be a daily struggle for some and the MPS society provides families with constant support.
