This September  jack and Sam are taking part in #HDAPlay to raise funds for the Huntington's Disease Association.

They are going to complete a range of challenges across lots of games over a 24 hrs period to raise vital funds for families impacted by Huntington’s disease. 

Jack and Sam lost their Nan to huntingdons just over a year ago and miss her every day. They also have the devastation of watching several family members continue to fight and suffer from this life limiting condition. Throughout their journey whilst not knowing their own fate for whether they carried the gene following my testing, they showed bravery, strength and courage. 

We hope we can raise a little bit of extra money to help everyone that currently daily endures the struggles, sadness and difficult times that come from this awful disease and that it can help bring some help, support or opportunity to get a cure for it.

My memories of Nan are so special to me but I wish for her to be back with us and I don’t want anyone else to lose someone special as it really hurts your heart.

Huntingdons disease impacts so many people and yet their still is no cure. My family has shown me bravery in dealing with such a horrible illness but I wish more than anything for my family to get better because I love them so much and I can’t lose anyone else.  I hope everyone can spare anything you can as I know money is difficult right now to help families like mine.
