Story
In April this year I lost my grandma due to a brain tumour. On December the 4th 2013 we got the news that Grandma June had a brain tumour the most devastating and shocking news anyone could get and after that day she went down hill, Christmas was a hard time for all of our family as we are all used to Grandma June basically having too much to drink and making us all laugh but not last year, and time went on my grandma got more and more ill after a bit all of her family joined together and did 24hour care even when we had been at work all day but it was worth it for one truly amazing woman. At the beginning of April she got took into Ashgate Hospice where they could care for her better. Then on the morning of the 23rd April I got a phone call at work saying everyone was to go to Ashgate to be with her. Grandma then passed away with all her close family by her side.
Every family member has their own memory of grandma just let's just say she was one in a million and no one will ever come close to being as amazing as her, she was always the best at fancy dress at any family piss up. Last year she managed to polish off my bottle of Apple Sourz. Grandma had her own unique way of doing a tequila slammer that no one can ever get there head around! Love and miss her so much I would do anything to pop around to hers for a cuppa and to raid her biscuit box again also to catch up on all the gossip or even to pop around to the Local to have a drink and a game of bingo with her!
I have cried my eyes out writing this.
