Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A year ago, I was lucky enough to have the chance to see Toybox's work for myself. Here is what I wrote in the heat of the moment:

“Why is it that some children are so lucky and most are not? There are children out there with that tiny hope inside them that one day they might have the chance to free themselves from the graffitied streets, the gnawing hunger and silent tears.

“All the projects I have seen in the past week have shown me that there is hope for those children with next to nothing, the workshops and activities that the teams do are showing them the right way to go.The dedication of the people here who care and try to change the way things are touches me, as it touches those children who are saved from a life on the street,. Everyone who plays a part in the work of Toybox deserves to feel proud; everyone who helps truly deserves to be satisfied for we are those who make the difference"

I think this sums things up well.
