#OurBackyardRocks!  In Washington state we are blessed with three glorious national parks right in our backyard. From the iconic silhouette of Mount Rainier, the many peaks of the North Cascades, and the three distinct and stunning ecosystems of Olympic National Parks, our parks provide us with sanctuary. 

This has been such a challenging year! I have found solace in the wilds of these parks. That is why Im joining the global giving movement and raising money for Washingtons National Park Fund (WNPF) on #GivingTuesday on December 1st. 

WNPF is the official philanthropic partner for our three parks. It works closely with park superintendents to raise money and fund particular projects in Mount Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks. Over the last 25 years, WNPF has funded projects to improve trails and campgrounds, introduce ALL to the parks, support wildlife research, and expand search and rescue programs.
