Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I ran in the Great South Run last year for the first time but wasn't sure that I would actually finish the race. I did, and I loved every moment. This year I have decided to give it another go but I want every mile to count for much more than just another training run.

Cancer research have already saved millions of lives through research into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer but they need our help to continue to search for a cure.

I will be running with a number of people in my thoughts and in my heart. For my mam who lost her battle six years ago, for my lovely friend Becky Cooper, taken too young at 31, for three friends currently going through their own battles with cancer. For all those who have and are facing life with cancer.
