To Fran, for Fran,

While it may not seem like a lot for some, I hadn’t ran for about 4 year prior to this, in the grand scheme of it, this challenge was nothing to the one Fran had to face and he never complained. 

I know times are hard at the moment but Brain tumours take so many lives, 16,000 people in UK are diagnosed each year, only 12% of those patients survive beyond the five years and when families are struck with the news they’re about to loose a loved one nothing really prepares you for it but Longfield Hospice really did everything they could to make sure Fran was cared for and was comfortable until the very end.

All that said and if you are still reading firstly thank you, secondly I will be running a 5k on the 13^th July for Fran.
