Hi everyone,

I am running the Tonbridge Half Marathon on 25th September for the children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent. As the UK's leading children's and young person's cancer charity, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer all round care, supporting patients and their families during diagnosis, at hospital and at home and after treatment.

My lovely Grandad passed away from cancer last year and I know several families who have lost people over the last few months to this horrible disease.

Most of all I am running for my brave friend Jen, who as she writes in her blog http://fromjennifer-withlove.tumblr.com, is 'casually combatting cancer' at the moment. CLIC Sergant is a charity close to Jen's heart and she and her family have benefited from the great work they do over the last few months.
