Story
Peter was a fit healthy 13 yr old with his whole life ahead of him. He suffered a chest infection which was masking the onset of Type1 Diabetes. He fought for 6 days & left us for heaven on Tuesday 6th January 2015..... our world fell apart that day. Noone expects to to lose their child, ever, not suddenly & unexpectedly when a finger prick test could've saved his life. We campaign for mandatory testing and awareness campaigns to highlight the 4Ts of the onset of Type1. Toilet, thirsty, tired, thinner, be vigilant it saves lives.
So this Oct, we #RunForDude campaigning & raising awareness of #KnowType1 taking part in Diabetes DiabetesUk Cymru #monthofmiles 💙 with our wonderful supporters & the phenomenal #type1army
