Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
After we decided to get fitter and not fatter – training began in earnest with meetings to discuss strategy. Then we had more meetings, a few trips to the gym followed by another meeting or two ... oh and a bit of walking which included visits to garden centres, shopping centres and the occasional watering-hole. We have tried to capture the intensity of our regime for you all to see with some pics in our Banner at the top. It shows how seriously we took diet and fluid intake which is obviously key to fitness and well-being.
On the successful completion of our task, the half marathon, we will be more than willing to introduce you to our well planned, designed and footpath-tested training regime, then you too can follow the lifestyle that we have adopted and will continue in the future. (Not that different from our old one really, just thrown in a bit of exercise to 'complement' our eating/drinking habits!)
We would like to thank you all for your support and encouragement (which we are still waiting for ....) and in the meantime, if you would be so kind as to chuck a bob or two on the Just Giving site we will be eternally grateful (survival permitting with regards to the eternally bit)
