Story
Hi everybody!
It is three years since I was diagnosed with Parkinson's and it is a disease that will become more common as people live longer. So I'd like to raise some funds towards research to find a cure, because at the moment the disease can only be managed by medication and this is a progressive disease.
**A million thanks too to everyone who has contributed so far and for all your encouragement. It has been greatly appreciated. ** **If you're visiting this page for the first time please help me to surpass my target of £1000.**
I have now done the 4km walk in Blenheim Palace grounds, taking in The Column of Victory, a fitting target, with colleagues from New Hinksey Primary School. In fact the walk was nearer to 6 km in the end. The weather was perfect not too hot and the rain that was promised held off until we'd finished. We all enjoyed the walk so thanks go to Elizabeth, Jan, Jenny, Jill, Julie and Ruth for accompanying me, giving me support and adding to my target total.
